It’s a warm, sweet and silky-smooth cut that leans into its alt-pop presentation, blending melancholy and romance into luscious texture. Her honeyed voice is the track’s centrepiece, floating weightlessly above the accompaniment. “I wrote it for my best friend during one of the hardest times in her life,” she explains. “Through the lyrics, I tried to capture her essence and our journey together.
